Visit Lakshadweep

Lakshadweep is a group of 36 islands located in the Arabian Sea off the coast of India. It is known for its pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. The majority of the population lives on 10 inhabited islands, while the rest are uninhabited or sparsely populated.

The main tourist spots include Bangaram Island, Kadmat Island, and Agatti Island. Bangaram Island is one of India's best-kept secrets, with breathtaking sunsets and serene sandy beaches strewn across its shores. Meanwhile, Kadmat Island has a lagoon perfect for snorkelling and swimming in shallow waters. Last but not least, Agatti Island hosts an array of activities from surfing to scuba diving and fishing activities all year round!

An interesting fact about Lakshadweep is that it was ruled by Aryan Kings between 1000 BC to 500 AD before being invaded by Arabs who introduced Islam there in the 8th century AD. The culture here has been heavily influenced by both Hinduism and Islam which makes this place even more unique!
