Visit Mizoram

Mizoram is a state in the Northeastern corner of India. It is bordered by Bangladesh and Myanmar, with the mighty Brahmaputra River to its east. It boasts lush, green hills and valleys, making it a popular destination for tourists looking to explore India's unique landscape.

One of the most popular destinations in Mizoram is Aizawl, the capital city. Here visitors can explore traditional markets, visit ancient temples such as Durtlang Hills or witness spectacular views from Phawngpui Peak. For an adventure further off-the-beaten path, travelers can hike through Reiek Tlang Mountain Range - home to rare species of birds and animals - or take on boating excursions down Lamsial Pu river.

A lesser known fact about Mizoram is that it was once part of Assam until 1972 when it was declared its own tribal land governed under The Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution. This makes it one of India's youngest states!
