Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) is a province of Indonesia located on the western part of the Lesser Sunda Islands. It comprises many small islands, including Sumbawa, Komodo, Flores and Lombok. Its capital city is Mataram.

NTB is known for its stunning beaches and coastal scenery as well as its lush mountains and tropical forest landscapes. Popular tourist sites include Gili Trawangan island off the coast of Lombok, along with Sumbawa's Sendang Gile waterfall and Batu Bolong Beach on Sumba Island. The region also has some interesting historical facts to offer; it was formerly part of the Hindu Majapahit Empire during much of the 14th century before coming under Islamic influence in 1520.

In addition to these natural attractions, NTB is rich in culture with many traditional festivals taking place throughout the year such as Eid Ul Fitri at Ramadan or Sekaten Festival in Yogyakarta.
