Visit Southeast Sulawesi

Southeast Sulawesi is a province of Indonesia located on the island of Sulawesi. It is bordered by the Flores Sea to the north, the Molucca Sea to the east, and Gorontalo province to the south. This province contains some of Indonesia's most spectacular natural beauty, from its tropical islands and white sand beaches to its mountainous terrain and lush rainforests. One popular tourist destination in Southeast Sulawesi is Wakatobi National Park, where visitors can explore coral reefs teeming with marine life. The park also has a number of smaller islands that are great for snorkeling or diving trips. Another must-see spot is Malili Lake, home to thousands of species of birds as well as other wildlife such as monkeys and wild boar.

For history buffs visiting Southeast Sulawesi, there's no better place than Ujung Pandang (Makassar), which was once an important trading port during Dutch colonial times in Indonesia before becoming its own independent kingdom in 1669 - 1749 AD. Today it is still known for its fascinating blend of old and new cultures found throughout its streets and parks, making it a great spot for exploration!
