Kerman Province is a province in southeastern Iran. With an area of 181,785 km2 (70,150 sq mi) it is the largest province of Iran. It is bounded on the north by Razavi Khorasan and South Khorasan provinces, on the east by Sistan and Baluchestan province, on the south by Hormozgan and Fars provinces, and on the west by Yazd and Isfahan provinces. Kerman Province is known for its unique culture which dates back to pre-Islamic times.

For tourists visiting Kerman Province there are many interesting places to explore such as Nemat Abad Desert Park where visitors can take a safari through sand dunes or tour Jabalieh Dome in Mahan - one of oldest historical monuments located in this region. Other attractions include Rayen Castle - an impressive adobe structure dating back 2 millennia - that towers over modern-day Kerman city as well as many other ancient sites throughout the region.

An interesting historical fact about Kerman Province is that it was once home to Zoroastrianism , one of world's oldest monotheistic religions founded by prophet Zarathustra around 600 BC which has left behind significant cultural heritage preserved in this part of Iran today.
