Visit Khuzestan Province

The Khuzestan Province, or Arabistan as it is also known, is a province in the southwest of Iran. It's home to some of the oldest civilizations in the Middle East and has been a major center for culture and trade for over three thousand years.

The region contains spectacular ancient ruins such as Susa archaeological site, located in present-day Shushtar. This incredible complex includes an acropolis dating back to 4200 BC, as well as several palaces from various dynasties throughout history. The nearby Shushtar Waterfalls are also well worth visiting; this winding collection of cascades provides beautiful views and great opportunities for swimming in its cool waters.

For history buffs, Masjed Soleyman is another must-see destination: located northwest of Ahvaz city, this archaeological site was once an important religious center during the Sasanian dynasty more than 1500 years ago. Today you can still see remnants like its monumental fire temple and amazing tilework at its palace complex.

In conclusion, Khuzestan offers an exciting opportunity to explore one of the oldest regions on Earth with plenty of impressive historical sites to visit along with breathtaking natural wonders like waterfalls!
