Visit Markazi Province

Markazi Province is a region in the heart of Iran, located about 300km south-west of the capital Tehran. It's an ancient land full of history and culture, with many interesting tourist attractions to explore.

One of the must-see sites in Markazi is Arak City, which is home to a grand historical mosque that dates back to the Seljuq dynasty. Visitors can take part in traditional ceremonies such as Norouz and Chaharshanbeh Soori, when Iranians celebrate the arrival of spring with spectacular fireworks displays.

The city is also known for its unique artistic handicrafts ranging from pottery making to carpet weaving. Tourists can also visit Shazdeh Garden near Mahallat city - a Persian paradise filled with lush gardens and pavilions surrounded by tall walls.

An interesting fact about Markazi province is that it was once home to Cyrus The Great (or 'Koorosh'), who established one of the first human rights codes during his reign from 559-529 BC -- this document preceded all other charters including Magna Carta and The Declaration Of Independence!
