Visit Qom Province

Qom Province is one of the 31 provinces of Iran located in the northwest region. Qom is historically renowned for being a religious center for Shia Islam and revered as a holy city, housing numerous mosques and the Shrine of Fatima Masumeh. This province is home to many revered religious figures and shrines; tourism-wise, it's visited by countless pilgrims from all over the country.

The two prominent tourist spots in Qom are Jamkaran Mosque, built over 12 centuries ago as part of an ancient desert caravanserai route linking eastern Iran with Isfahan, and Monar Jonban shrine - which houses two minarets that shake when visitors walk between them! An interesting historical fact about Qom is that it was one of the first cities in Iran to be converted to Islam during the Arab invasion in 642 AD.
