Trinity College Dublin is one of the oldest universities in Ireland and the world, founded in 1592. It is located in the heart of Dublin city and is an important part of Irish history and heritage. Its stunning buildings, beautiful grounds, gardens, museums and galleries make it a must-visit attraction for anyone visiting Dublin. The highlight of any visit to Trinity College has to be its Old Library – a breathtakingly beautiful building which houses over four million books as well as one of Ireland’s most important cultural artifacts: The Book of Kells. Other highlights include the stunning Long Room, with its marble busts lining the walls; The Science Gallery; The University Church; The Campanile Bell Tower; and Samuel Beckett Theatre.

Planning a visit to Trinity College Dublin? Here are some top tips and tricks: 1. Research the college, its history and its attractions ahead of time before you go so you know what to expect. 2. Book accommodation in advance as it can get busy during peak season. 3. Pack lightly for your trip, including comfortable shoes for walking around the campus grounds.
4. Make use of the college’s onsite cafe for meals, snacks and drinks throughout your stay - plus it’s cheaper than eating out! 5. Take advantage of student discounts when sightseeing or shopping in Dublin city center - just bring along a valid student ID card from your university if applicable!
6. Familiarize yourself with local transportation routes (bus, train etc.) so you can easily get around without getting lost!
