Discover Bedonia

The city of Bedonia is located within the province of Parma in the region of Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It lies on a hilltop surrounded by lush rolling hills and countryside. The area has been inhabited since pre-Roman times and has some vestiges from this era evident in its architecture.

Bedonia's compact centre is characterised by winding cobblestone streets lined with historic buildings, making it a pleasure to explore on foot. It is renowned for its traditional Italian cuisine which can be enjoyed at one of the many excellent restaurants in the town centre or at trattorias found hidden away down cobbled alleys.

Visitors should not miss out on seeing some of Bedonia's beautiful historic sites such as the imposing castle which dates back to 12th century, as well as immersing themselves into local art and culture when attending one of its lively festivals or visiting a museum showcasing local artefacts and artwork. Those who love being outdoors can take advantage of hiking trails leading up to stunning panoramic views from nearby mountain peaks; an experience that will remain long after leaving Bedonia behind.
