Lake Bracciano

Lake Bracciano is an idyllic getaway located in the Lazio region of Italy. Located just north of Rome and surrounded by rolling hills, the lake is a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. The lake itself is pristine and perfect for swimming, fishing, boating or simply relaxing on its banks. Its waters are home to many varieties of fish including eels, carp, tench and pike.
Visitors can also check out Castello Orsini-Odescalchi which sits atop a hill overlooking the lake. This beautiful 15th-century castle has been featured in movies such as The Star Maker and Vicolo Stretto Di Napoli as well as in several music videos by Italian artists. There are also numerous outdoor activities at Camping La Villetta where hikers can explore trails along the lake’s shores to take in stunning views of Lake Bracciano from afar.
