The Cattedrale di S.Maria Assunta, also known as Como Cathedral, is a stunning example of Italian Gothic architecture located in the heart of Como, Italy. The cathedral’s construction began in 1396 and took nearly four centuries to complete, resulting in a remarkable blend of architectural styles. The cathedral’s facade is adorned with intricate sculptures and reliefs, while its interior is awash with beautiful frescoes, stained glass windows, and a magnificent coffered ceiling.
