Visit Tuscany

Tuscany is located in the central region of Italy and is one of the most beautiful regions in the country. It's known for its rolling hills, vineyards, and classic Italian architecture. The region has a rich history that includes many important monuments, such as Pisa's iconic Leaning Tower, Florence's Duomo cathedral, and Siena's medieval city centre. In Tuscany you will find some of Italy's finest museums and galleries featuring works by Michelangelo, Botticelli and other renowned artists.

A visit to Tuscany would not be complete without exploring its famous wine country. From Montalcino to Chianti you can explore the area's many wineries while sampling some of the world-famous wines produced there. And if that wasn't enough you could also visit picturesque hilltop towns like Cortona or San Gimignano whose medieval skyline stands out against the Tuscan countryside.

One interesting historical fact about Tuscany is that it was where Leonardo da Vinci began painting his masterpiece "The Last Supper" in 1498 at Santa Maria delle Grazie church in Milan. It makes for a perfect day trip from Florence or Siena if you have time!
