Visit Saint Thomas Parish


Saint Thomas Parish is located in the southeastern part of Jamaica, in the county of Middlesex. The parish is known for its lush vegetation and rolling hills. It has some of the country's most stunning beaches, as well as majestic mountain ranges such as the Blue Mountain Peak.

One popular tourist attraction is YS Falls, a seven-tier waterfall that cascades into a natural pool. Visitors can swim in the pool or zipline through the treetops from one end to another. There are also many hiking trails that lead to breathtaking views at various elevations throughout Saint Thomas Parish.

The parish was home to a few notable figures during Jamaica's colonial period, including Sir Alexander Bustamante who served as Prime Minister and William Knibb who was an ardent abolitionist and Methodist missionary from England. Today, Saint Thomas Parish provides plenty of outdoor activities for tourists as well as a rich cultural experience worthy of exploration!
