Discover Hōjō

 
Hojo is a small city located in the Kanto region of Japan. It is situated in the south-eastern part of Saitama Prefecture and has a population of approximately 44,000 people. The area has a rich culture and history, being home to many shrines, temples, and historic sites. Visitors can explore Ushio Shrine which dates back to the 12th century or visit an old Samurai House from the Edo Period at Hachigata Castle Park. Other interesting attractions include Hiraiwa Onsen hot springs and various parks where one can enjoy nature or take part in outdoor activities such as walking trails, cycling tours, camping and fishing. Moreover, one can experience traditional Japanese tea ceremonies at Oshuji Temple or have fun shopping for unique local souvenirs at nearby farmers markets.
