Discover Fukuyama

 
Fukuyama is a city located in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. It is the second largest city in the prefecture and home to over 500,000 people. The area around Fukuyama has been inhabited since ancient times and was an important castle town during Edo Period. Today it's a bustling modern city known for its beautiful landscapes, traditional culture, and delicious local cuisine.

There are plenty of things to see and do when visiting Fukuyama. One must-see attraction is the Rurikoji Temple - a spectacular 5-story pagoda built in 1591 that overlooks the city from nearby Mount Tomioka. Visitors can also explore Fukuyama Castle Park with its reconstructed castle keep and moat or take in stunning views of the Seto Inland Sea from Hakuto Beach Park. For shopping enthusiasts, there's Tenjin Shopping Street which runs through downtown Fukuyama offering a wide range of fashion stores, souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes and more!
