Senso-ji Temple

Senso-ji Temple, located in the bustling city of Tokyo, is an ancient Buddhist temple that stands as a symbol of tranquility and spirituality amidst the urban chaos. Known as Tokyo’s oldest temple, it was completed in 628 AD and is dedicated to the bodhisattva Kannon. The main hall and five-storied pagoda, beautifully illuminated at night, are must-see sights. The temple grounds also house a serene garden and a pond filled with koi, offering a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle.
