Visit Qostanay

Qostanay is a province located in the northern part of Kazakhstan, on the border with Russia. It is an area of mountains and steppe grasslands where wild horses, camels, and wolves can be found. Qostanay is home to many historical sites that make it a popular destination for tourists. The city of Kostanay has the distinction of being one of Kazakhstan's oldest cities; it served as a major stop on the Silk Road trading route. One must-see attraction is the Shaman Rock or Snake Mountain - named so because its shape resembles that of a snake winding up towards heaven - which offers great views from its summit.
