Vihiga County has some great places to visit such as the Kaimosi Friends University College which was founded by American missionaries over 100 years ago; it's also home to one of East Africa's oldest churches - St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church which was built in 1902. Additionally there is Kyamutuya Falls which offers an amazing view over terraced farmlands framed by lush forests and mountains.
An interesting historical fact about Vihiga County is that during colonial times it served as home to British administrators who planted many trees around their homes which are now used as landmarks for navigation purposes throughout the county even today!
