Wajir County is located in northeastern Kenya, bordering Somalia to the east. It covers an area of approximately 38,000 km2 and has a population of roughly 670,000 people. Wajir County is well known for its stunning desert landscapes and abundant wildlife including cheetahs and African elephants.
