Visit Graçanicë

Gracanice is a municipality in the province of Kosovo. It's known for its diverse landscape and warm climate, making it an attractive destination for visitors. Gracanice is located in south-central Kosovo, nestled between the towns of Gjilan and Prizren. It shares a border with North Macedonia as well.

The region has plenty to offer tourists looking for sights to explore! One popular spot is the medieval town of Manastir, which was once an important Christian cultural center. Visitors can also take in the stunning views of Babina Gora mountain range, located on Gracanice's western boundary. This area offers numerous hiking trails through lush forests and spectacular scenery along its rugged terrain.

Historically, Gracanice has seen many cultures come and go throughout its long history - from Romans to Byzantines to Ottoman Turks; remnants from this past are still visible today! An interesting fact about this region is that it was once part of Serbian-ruled Yugoslavia before becoming a part of Kosovo following the war waged by Serbia against NATO forces in 1999. All these distinct influences have left behind a unique blend that make Gracanice an exciting place to visit!
