Discover Rahovec

 
Rahovec is a city located in the municipality of Decan, in western Kosovo. It has a population of around 9,000 people and is situated near the Albanian border. Rahovec is also known as Orahovac or Rahoveci and has been inhabited since ancient times. The city boasts beautiful mountain scenery and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Visitors will find plenty to explore in this vibrant city, from local markets selling produce to traditional Albanian restaurants serving delicious food.

For those interested in culture and history, Rahovec offers plenty of sites to see including traditional mosques, churches and a unique trading market which dates back centuries ago. A trip to Kishnica Cave should be high on visitors' lists; it's one of Europe's longest cave systems at over 6 miles long! Some other nearby attractions include the National Park Ujmani i Decanit for outdoor activities such as hiking or camping; the medieval castle Janjevo which was built hundreds of years ago;and Gjakova mosque which is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Kosovo with its rich Islamic design.
