The Bokeo Province of Laos is a beautiful and tranquil area located in the northwest region of the country. It is known for its lush green rolling hills, stunning waterfalls, and unique ethnic minority cultures. The Nam Ha National Protected Area is a great place to visit as it encompasses 1,700 square kilometers of rugged mountains and pristine tropical forests that are home to a variety of wildlife species. Additionally, visitors can take part in activities such as trekking and kayaking on the Nam Tha River or exploring hill-tribe villages.

One of the most popular tourist attractions in Bokeo Province is The Gibbon Experience, where people can explore untouched forests while zip-lining and observe wild gibbons in their natural habitat. Another interesting historical fact about this area is that it was once a part of Burma until 1827 when it was annexed by Siam (now Thailand).
