Visit Sainyabuli Province


The Sainyabuli Province of Laos is located in the northwest part of the country and is home to some stunning landscapes. The province is bordered by Thailand's Nan Province to the west and Bokeo Province to the north. It features lush jungles, rolling hills, and beautiful waterfalls.

One of the most popular destinations for tourists visiting Sainyabuli Province is Ban Hat Khai Kaew, a charming village known for its production of sapphire gemstones. Visitors can also explore Nam Khoun Cave, a limestone cave with an impressive stalagmite formation that reaches up to five meters in height.

A must-see historical site in Sainyabuli Province is Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua Yanasampanno or simply "Tiger Temple" as it has become known amongst tourists due its statues of tigers around the temple walls and entrance gate. Tiger Temple was built during the 16th century and still stands today as a reminder of Laotian culture and history.
