Visit Xiangkhouang

Xiangkhouang is a province in Laos, located in the sparsely populated mountainous north-east of the country. It is renowned for its stunning landscape and amazing cultural diversity. Popular tourist attractions include the Plain of Jars, an ancient archaeological site featuring thousands of megaliths scattered across its landscape; and Phonsavanh, a vibrant modern city encircled by rolling limestone hills.

In terms of history, Xiangkhouang is known for being one of the most heavily bombed locations during the Vietnam War due to its strategic importance at that time.
