Visit Balzers

The Balzers of Liechtenstein are a small but vibrant principality located in the heart of Europe, nestled between Austria and Switzerland. The capital city of Vaduz is home to a picturesque castle and breathtaking views of the Rhine Valley.

A visit to Liechtenstein would not be complete without visiting some of its many tourist attractions, such as Gutenberg Castle, Ruggeller Riet Nature Reserve, or the National Museum. Visitors can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking and biking in the beautiful alpine terrain.

Liechtenstein has been ruled by the House of Liechtenstein since 1699 when it was granted imperial immediacy within the Holy Roman Empire. Today it enjoys a high quality of life and low unemployment rate with an economy based largely on banking, manufacturing and tourism.
