Visit Canton of Clervaux

The Canton of Clervaux is located in the north of Luxembourg and is one of the 12 cantons of the Grand Duchy. Its main town is Clervaux, a picturesque, medieval village with a castle as its centerpiece. The castle grounds serve as a museum dedicated to Luxembourg's wartime history and visitors can admire its beautiful gardens and views.

Tourists should also visit the Abbey of St Maurice in nearby Esch-sur-Sure, which features an impressive architecture from the 12th century and houses an important collection of manuscripts.

One interesting historical fact about this region is that it was home to General George Patton during World War II when he was preparing for his famous Battle of the Bulge campaign against Nazi Germany. Today, visitors can learn more about this time period at places like The Battle Of The Bulge Museum or Patton Monument - both located near Clervaux Castle.
