Visit Kaafu Atoll


Kaafu Atoll is a stunning tropical paradise located in the Maldives. It is made up of three different atolls, North, South and Thiladhummathi all joined together by shallow lagoons. The Kaafu Atoll is one of the most popular destinations for tourists, boasting some of the most beautiful and secluded beaches, crystal clear waters and an abundance of marine life.

One of the must-see tourist attractions in Kaafu Atoll is Maafushi Island. Not only does it have a gorgeous sandy beach but also has boat trips to nearby uninhabited islands and snorkeling spots with plenty of reefs to explore. Villingili Island on the other hand offers visitors a range of outdoor activities such as jet skiing or banana boating as well as cultural sites such as temples and mosques to explore.

In terms of history, Kaafu Atoll was once ruled by King Giraanboo who reigned from 1558-1573 AD and was known for his justice and peacekeeping skills during his reign. He established many laws which are still practiced in modern day Maldives today!
