Visit Guerrero


Guerrero is a beautiful state in southwestern Mexico with a rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, and spectacular beaches. It is home to some of the country's most iconic beach destinations including Acapulco, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, and Taxco de Alarcon. Guerrero also features impressive mountains and lush jungles as well as vibrant cities like Chilpancingo and Tlapa de Comonfort.

For adventure seekers, Guerrero offers plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking the Sierra Madre del Sur Mountains or caving at Grutas de Cacahuamilpa National Park near Taxco. Be sure to take a tour of Ciudad Altamirano where you can explore its colonial architecture and archaeological sites such as La Campana pyramid in Huitzuco.

Guerrero played an important role during the Mexican Revolution with strong support from local leader Lucio Blanco who declared it an independent republic in 1911. Today visitors can visit his grave in Villa Union to pay tribute to this famous revolutionary figure.
