Visit Drochia District

Drochia District is located in the northeast of Moldova and is known for being a center of industry. The region has many factories that play an important role in Moldova's economy, but there are also plenty of things to do for tourists. In Drochia, you can visit Capriana Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Moldova, or try some of the local food at La Movila Restaurant. An interesting historical fact about Drochia District is that it was once home to Stephanus Thallosius, who wrote one of the earliest travel guides about Moldovan territories.
