Monaco is an independent microstate located in Western Europe along the Mediterranean Sea. It is known for its glamour and wealth, with a population of just over 38,000 people. Monaco is the second-smallest country in the world, after Vatican City.

The iconic casino provides an opportunity to gamble or take in a show at one of its many theaters and bars. An interesting fact about Monaco is that it has been ruled by the same royal family since 1297 making it one of the oldest monarchies in Europe today. The current ruler is Prince Albert II who continues to ensure that this special principality remains a beacon of luxury and sophistication throughout Europe.
