The Bulgan Province of Mongolia is a small, beautiful region located in the northern part of the country. It is known for its stunning mountain views, vast steppes, and rich cultural heritage.

One can find many tourist attractions in Bulgan Province such as Rashaan Khad Monastery and the Orkhon Waterfall. The Rashaan Khad Monastery was built by Buddhist monk Abtai Sain Khan in 1586 and is worth visiting for its brick tower, red ochre walls, and spectacular view of Mount Khangai to the east. The Orkhon Waterfall cascades down an impressive 25 metres over basalt cliffs near Ulaan Tsutgalan village.

In terms of history, Bulgan was once part of the powerful Mongol Empire which unified all nomadic tribes during Genghis Khan's reign. During this period it served as an important centre for trade between East and West Europe through Central Asia on what became known as the Silk Road. Today it remains a great destination to explore Mongolia's vast landscapes and learn about its fascinating culture and history.
