The Dornod Province of Mongolia is a beautiful and rugged region located in the north-eastern part of the country. It has vast steppes, majestic mountains, and an abundance of wildlife. The province is home to several interesting attractions including Chuluut Nature Reserve where visitors can explore amazing landscapes and observe various species of birds, mammals, reptiles and fish. Another must-see place is Noyon Uul which is a mountain complex with unique rock formations.

Dornod Province also has an interesting history as it was once part of China's Manchukuo puppet state from 1932 until 1945 when it was returned to Mongolian control. One important historical site in the region is Tamsag Bulag which contains ruins from this period such as Buddhist temples and monuments that offer a glimpse into its past.
