Casablanca-Settat is a large region located in the western part of Morocco. It consists of two main cities:
Casablanca and Settat, both of which offer a variety of attractions for visitors. One popular tourist spot is
the Hassan II Mosque, located in Casablanca. This breathtaking structure was built in the late 20th century and
consists of intricate Islamic architecture and an expansive courtyard. Another site to visit is the Ain Leuh Park,
located near Settat. The park contains lush gardens, small ponds, and various recreational activities.

One interesting historical fact about Casablanca-Settat is that it was once part of the French Protectorate of Morocco
from 1912 to 1956 before it became independent once more. During this period, many French colonial structures were erected in
the area including churches and public buildings; some are still standing today as a reminder of its past.
