The Western Region of Nepal is one of the most diverse provinces in the country. It has some of the highest mountain ranges such as Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu, as well as many low-lying plains and lakes. Pokhara is one of its main cities located in a beautiful valley with stunning views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks. With its vibrant culture, Pokhara offers plenty to explore like inviting cafes, Buddhist monasteries and outdoor activities such as paragliding and boating on Phewa Lake.

Mustang Valley is another gem found within the region's borders. Known for its mysterious caves, ancient monuments, picturesque landscapes and friendly locals it was once a kingdom independent from Nepal until recently becoming part of the Western Region.

The region also has an interesting history when it comes to religions: Christianity, Buddhism & Hinduism all thrive together peacefully in this area since centuries ago when the three made up a majority unlike other parts of Nepal which were primarily Hindu or Buddhist only at that time..
