Discover Wellington

Wellington is the capital of New Zealand and one of the country's most vibrant cities. Located at the southern tip of North Island, Wellington has a population of over 200,000 people, making it the third-largest urban area in New Zealand.
The city has a stunning natural landscape, with hills and valleys meeting along an impressive harbourfront. The atmosphere is notoriously windy but mild year-round and this makes it an ideal destination for outdoor activities like hiking or cycling.
Some of Wellington's sights include Te Papa Museum - New Zealand's national museum - which tells stories about its unique culture, history and environment; Zealandia Wildlife Sanctuary - home to a wide range of native plants and birds;and Mt Victoria Lookout for spectacular views across the cityscape. With its vibrant food scene, world-class galleries and craft breweries, Wellington is an exciting place to visit.
