Visit Abia State


Abia State is a state located in south-eastern Nigeria and is home to some of the most diverse cultures and traditions in Nigeria. It is best known for its booming agricultural industry, oil production, and wealth of natural resources. Abia State's major tourist attractions include the National Museum at Umuahia, which houses artifacts from many different cultures, as well as the Ariaria International Market in Aba City, one of Africa's largest markets. Other popular destinations include Arochukwu Cave Shrine & Slave Route Tourist Centre and Ngwa National Park.

One interesting historical fact about Abia State is that it was once part of Imo State before being carved out as its own state in 1991. It has since become an important economic center within Nigeria due to its rich resources, such as oil and cocoa production.
