When visiting Ebonyi State, be sure to check out the Nwezenyi Cave located near Afikpo and the Adada River Falls in Ezzamgbo. Both sites offer unique geological formations and are great places to take photos! Additionally, Ebonyi State has some interesting historical sites such as Ikwo Ikwo National Park, which contains artifacts from pre-colonial times.

Ebonyi State also had an important role in Nigerian history during the Biafran War in 1967-1970 when it provided refuge for many Biafrans fleeing violence from other parts of Nigeria. This legacy lives on today with many monuments honoring those who fought for freedom during that time period still standing across the state today.
