Visit Enugu State
Enugu State is a state in southeastern Nigeria, bordered by Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi and Imo states. It is the capital of the coal-rich Igbo people and home to the Enugu International Airport. The major cities are Enugu (the state capital) and Nsukka.

The area was later renamed 'Enugwu Ngwo' which means 'hill top' before eventually becoming known today as Enugu State.
