Discover Oslo
For those seeking adventure there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy including hikes along the many trails throughout the city or kayaking trips through its waterways. History buffs will find much to appreciate in Oslo's museums such as Viking Ship Museum which houses three original Viking ships from over a thousand years ago or Fram Polar Ship Museum featuring an original polar exploration vessel used between 1892-1912.
To experience some local flavor there's no better place than Aker Brygge which is an outdoor shopping area filled with restaurants offering traditional Norwegian fare such as reindeer steaks or fresh codfish dishes alongside more international flavors like sushi or Italian cuisine. Lastly, no trip to Oslo would be complete without exploring Vigeland Park - a large green space where visitors can marvel at sculptures created by Gustav Vigeland's lifetime work depicting themes such as love, life and death all in one park!
