Visit Al Batinah North Governorate

The Al Batinah North Governorate in Oman is a stunning area located in northern Oman along the coast of the Gulf of Oman. The governorate is home to beautiful beaches with crystal clear blue waters, as well as rugged mountains and desert landscapes. Two popular tourist locations to visit include the historic city of Nakhal, known for its centuries-old fort and its hot springs, and Wadi Bani Awf, a picturesque mountain valley surrounded by spectacular rock formations.

Historically, Al Batinah North was an important trading center between Arabia and India during the golden age of Muscat's maritime empire.
