Port Moresby

Papua New Guinea's National Capital, Port Moresby, is the largest city in the Pacific nation. Located on the south coast of Papua New Guinea, it's a vibrant and diverse city with plenty to explore. It's one of the most culturally rich cities in Oceania, with many locals speaking English as their first language and a range of cultural influences from all around the world.

When visiting Port Moresby, visitors can experience some of its many attractions such as The National Parliament Building, Paga Hill Nature Park, and Ela Beach which offers picturesque views over the harbor. For those with an interest in history there are several sites such as Bomana War Cemetery or Wagawaga Village Garden where visitors can learn about World War II battles that took place in PNG.

For nature lovers there is also plenty to explore outside of Port Moresby including Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway and Nature Park which offers stunning views over pristine jungle rainforest or Varirata National Park for bird-watching enthusiasts.
