Visit Calabarzon


Calabarzon, also known as Region IV-A, is a region in the Philippines located in the southern part of Luzon. It is made up of five provinces: Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon. It has a total land area of 14,499 square miles and a population of nearly 14 million people.

Calabarzon is well-known for its stunning landscapes and attractions such as Taal Lake and Taal Volcano in Batangas; Mount Banahaw in Quezon; and Mount Makiling in Laguna. The majestic Puerto Galera on Mindoro Island is another tourist destination that offers pristine white beaches and crystal clear waters perfect for snorkeling or diving experience.

For those who are interested to learn more about the region's history should visit Intramuros, Manila's ancient walled city which dates back to 1571 during Spanish colonial period where visitors can marvel at old churches and ruins while learning some interesting facts about Filipino history. Other historical sites worth visiting would be Tanay Church built over 300 years ago by Augustinian priests or Pagsanjan Falls where American soldiers fought against Filipinos during Philippine revolution in 1898.
