Visit Central Luzon

Central Luzon is one of the most populous regions in the Philippines, located just north of the capital city Manila. It is home to a diverse culture with an abundance of natural beauty.

Tourists flock to Central Luzon to explore its many attractions and experience its vibrant cities, like Angeles City and Olongapo City. One popular destination for visitors is Clark Air Base, which was a major United States military installation during World War II. The area also hosts a variety of festivals, such as day-long music and dance events that take place in April.

The Sapang Bato Falls in Angeles City is another must-visit sight, where visitors can enjoy trekking or swimming in the crystal clear waters beneath them. The Candaba Bird Sanctuary near San Miguel town is a great spot for bird watching; it host over 130 species of wild birds from around the world.

History buffs will appreciate historical sites such as Corregidor Island, which was an important defensive stronghold during WW2 and now serves as a memorial to those who died there during Japanese occupation from 1942-1945. Another iconic landmark nearby is Mount Pinatubo - one of only seven stratovolcanoes in the country - which famously erupted back in 1991 causing widespread destruction across Central Luzon but still offers breathtaking views today when visited safely by tourists!
