Davao Region is a region located in the southeastern part of the Philippines, comprising five provinces and one independent city. It is known for its lush natural beauty, vibrant culture, and rich history.

As a popular tourist destination, Davao Region has something for everyone. Some of its must-visit attractions include Mt. Apo National Park, which offers spectacular views and hiking opportunities; Malagos Garden Resort where you can explore diverse wildlife; and Eden Nature Park which promises fun activities such as zip lining through the treetops. For those looking to really immerse themselves in local culture, there are plenty of local festivals and markets to explore throughout the year.

An interesting fact about Davao Region is that it was once home to Philippine president Manuel Roxas who served from 1946 to 1948 during the Commonwealth period of Philippine History. Today his birthplace in Kaputian District serves as a memorial park dedicated to him and his accomplishments for the country at large.
