Visit Soccsksargen


Soccsksargen, formally known as Region XII, is a province located in the southeastern part of the Philippines. It is divided into four provinces; South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and General Santos City. The region encompasses 11 cities and 18 municipalities, with a total population of around 4 million people.

The region is home to some beautiful attractions such as Mount Matutum in South Cotabato and Lake Sebu in Sultan Kudarat. Mount Matutum boasts rich vegetation due to its high altitude while Lake Sebu offers stunning views and an array of aquatic activities such as boat rides to explore the nearby islands.

Aside from its natural wonders, Soccsksargen also has many notable historical sites making it a great destination for history buffs! Among these are Fort Pikit which was built by American forces during their occupation of Mindanao from 1902 - 1913 and St Mary's Academy Museum which features artifacts showcasing colonial times during the 17th century Spanish occupation of Mindanao island.
