Visit Dolnośląskie

The Dolnoslaskie region, located in western Poland, is known for its rolling hills, historic fortresses and abandoned silver mines. The landscape of the region is dominated by the Sudetes mountain range with its peaks and gorges running along the border of Poland and the Czech Republic. The capital city of Wroclaw is a great starting point to explore this province with its stunning architecture, cobblestone streets and a vibrant nightlife.

To fully experience all that Dolnoslaskie has to offer, visitors should make sure to visit Swidnica's Church of Peace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site designated for its unique 17th century wooden construction as well as Ksiaz Castle located near Walbrzych which houses one of Europe's most impressive baroque libraries.

One interesting historical fact about Dolnoslaskie is that it was part of Prussia until 1945 when it became part of Poland once again after World War II ended.
