Visit Kielce


Kielce is a city and province located in the south-central part of Poland. It is known for its green landscape, rolling hills, and numerous rivers and streams. Kielce is also home to many historical sites such as the Castle of Krakow, which was built in the 13th century. The Centre for Contemporary Art (CSW) is an important culture center that offers exhibitions, workshops, screenings, and lectures about art from all around the world.

Popular tourist attractions include the adjacent Swietokrzyski National Park which offers stunning views of nature with breathtaking waterfalls and forests full of wild animals. Another popular destination is Bardo Museum where over seven thousand artifacts are on display including musical instruments from antiquity to modern pieces as well as historical artifacts.

Kielce has always been a cultural center since it served as a meeting point between two different cultures - Polish and Jewish - throughout history up until WWII when most Jews living in Poland were killed by Nazis during their occupation.
