Visit Lubusz Voivodeship

The Lubusz Voivodeship is a province of western Poland, located on the country's border with Germany. This region is known for its lush forests, numerous rivers and meadows, and many picturesque lakes. Its capital is Zielona Gora which offers a wide range of tourist attractions such as the royal Castle Museum and historic market square. Nature lovers can also take part in activities like camping, fishing or kayaking at Drawsko Lake or explore the protected areas of Lower Odra Valley National Park.

Two popular tourist destinations are the charming village of Krzeszow with its historic monuments including a Baroque palace, 18th century basilica and monastery; and Bledzew where visitors can discover ancient ruins from one of Poland's oldest settlements dating back to 932AD.

This region has been historically significant since 12th century when it formed part of medieval Piast Kingdom - a territory extending all the way from Baltic Sea to Sudetes Mountains. To this day Lubusz remains an important cultural crossroads between Eastern Europe and Western Germany due to its proximity to both countries' borders.
