Visit Centru

The Centru region of Romania is a beautiful area located in the heart of the country. It is home to some of Romania's most iconic tourist destinations, such as the Palace of Culture in Iasi, and the city of Sibiu. It also has many picturesque villages that are perfect for exploring on foot or by car.

One must-see attraction in Centru is Bran Castle, which dates back to 1212 and was once home to Vlad III "The Impaler" - who inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula. Visitors can explore the castle's grounds and get a glimpse into Romania's past.

Another great destination for tourists is Piatra Neamt - a city known for its churches, monasteries and breathtaking landscapes. Here visitors can enjoy kayaking on Lake Bicaz or trekking through Ceahlau National Park, which has been nicknamed 'the Austrian Alps'.

Centru is also home to many important historical sites such as Voronet Monastery - an Eastern Orthodox church with frescoes painted in shades of blue known as "Voronet Blue". This region offers something for everyone from outdoor adventurers looking for stunning mountain hikes to culture lovers looking to explore centuries old monuments.
